We'll continue to work with Stan, and he's one of the most positive, easy to work with, and amazing artists we have the ability to work with. And on top of that, his stuff sells, shocking. If you ran a business, saw all those positives, nearly zero cons, and you decided to stop working with him, well, that'd be an interesting move…

Plus, we're working with other artists, dont worry...
There is no reason not to work with Lau. Guys love girl statues and love Lau's Girls so...

I think we see so much Lau because he has a real work ethic and meets deadlines and expectations unlike many other artists related to these hobbies as showns by the commission complaints.
I get wanting other artists, and that happens as Igo alluded to but please please don't cut Lau out.

Here is some digital work, although I don't know if this is for Sideshow's statue or another statue.

Pepper: Collectible Figurine for Stanley 'Artgerm' Lau
I'm working on a figurine for Stanley Lau of his brilliant character Pepper. I'm honored he chose me to create her for his personal project. She will be produced as a collectible desktop figurine!
Kinda sounds like its for a different figurine coming to market and not Sideshow's, although that would be wierd that they would be identical versions of Pepper when he has so many different versions to choose from. Then again, I have never heard of a Sideshow statue being referred to as a desktop figurine.

Either way, I am a big pepper fan so I for one can't wait for this! Honestly, I am surprised it took this long for a high end Pepper statue to hit shelves. Some of my favorite Lau prints are some of his Pepper prints.

And here are a couple more pieces of art of this particular version of pepper:

Is the print a Stan Lau choice, a SS choice or a mix of both ?

No, way overrated. He will never amount to anything, mark my words.

gotta say, never in a million years would i expect this to be made. i've seen this character before but never thought it would be popular enough to ever get the PF treatment. especially with so many other characters that still haven't gotten that. it's definitely cool looking, but still i'm super surprised its getting made before alot of other characters.

Pepper is actually extremely popular. Lau has created at least 50-75+ different pieces of Pepper artwork/prints. I am honestly surprised it has taken this long for a high end Pepper statue to come to market, especially given how important the character is to Lau.

Actually, I just did a quick count and there are over 90 Pepper pieces on DeviantArt from Lau and I own at least 10-12 prints myself.

I might be more interested in the art print than the PF for this one. Really like Artgerm's work, just don't know if I'd be willing to spend that much on an original character that I don't have any nostalgia tied into. Hard to say either way, without seeing the final product.

I really don't think I like her hat/helmet/earphone thing.
