Dave Igo Leaving Sideshow
I just saw on Facebook last night he announced he is/has left Sideshow and will be moving on to other prospects. I was shocked honestly, but wish him well. I hope he finds something new and wonderful that will take him far in his future.
I also am now wondering what will happen with the projects he was working on, i.e. that new fantasy female line and the JSC Fairytale Fantasies line.

I don't really know what to think of this.
On the one hand, I am really thinking that the art direction at Sideshow has been going downhill for some time now. On the other hand, is he responsible for all the atrocious art deciaions that Sideshow made? I want to think it's a team.
But I surely wish him all the best in his future endeavors!

Some of the stuff Sideshow has up for sale has been questionable lately. $4000 diamond dust prints? - C'mon!
On the 1/4 PF front, many of the piece's have been amazing. I always thought it was the 1/4 area, Igo was most involved with?
If Will Harbottle is prmoted, i sure hope that does not take away from his role as sculptor, as that's where is skills are best used.

Ya its a team, but remember marvel/disney also have a say in it, so don't know if its there misdirection or if its all on sideshow.
I mean the newest X-men line at least gave us themes (Sentinel/Danger room/Snow(ya not the most mind blowing). Hopefully some good stuff was approved and being sculpted out.
Hope that whoever the new art director is doesn't just go "lets start all over screw all the old stuff" Do the typical sideshow thing and not finish stuff out.
