Didn't know it was machined Aluminum. That isn't cheap especially for stuff like this.

Regardless of why so much though this is still true:

That is listed in the first post. Yes, it is expensive, quality USA made stuff usually is.

Wasn't even 30, its too bad, very cool scene.

I don't have an issue with the price. Licensed product, made in the USA, machined from aluminum, and metal detail pieces. I'll be surprised if they sell all 750 pieces at retail though.

Only 3 seconds in the movie, easy pass, not important...

Please, with all that complaining already it could have been shown for 30 min and you still wouldn't get it. Companies have even made stuff from deleted scenes or extended cuts before, actual length of screen time is irrelevant.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

No it does matter, this saber and the scene is completely irrelevant, not so much the length but the significance - in this case it’s just an illusion added purely for the trailer to generate buzz - dark Rey!

It would be so much better if she actually went through with the deed grandpa wanted, turned dark, fought Kylo Ren with that double saber, Kylo then sacrifices himself to snap her back to the light side. Then the saber might have some meaning.

Glad I passed on it, it’s just meaningless, such a shame as the design is very cool

It might matter to you, but that does not really it has to for anyone else. A lot of the movie could have been better, but this is still a cool piece. I don't collect sabers, but I would like this if I did.
