For Sama (2019) - Both an intimate and epic journey into the female experience of war.
This was tough to watch for its realism. The camera was not shy about showing the injured and dead as a consequence of the war in Aleppo. 8/10

How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019) - When Hiccup discovers Toothless isn't the only Night Fury, he must seek "The Hidden World", a secret Dragon Utopia before a hired tyrant named Grimmel finds it first.
Good animation, okay story. 5/10

Really? It didn't do well but I was curious about it since it's horror.

rythym section 6.5/10 bit standard formula but not too bad.
On a side note, I am enjoying the Alamo season pass option.

Togo 8/10
As a kid I grew up knowing about the story of Togo since my dad is from the far north (he considered Fargo, where I live now as "South"). I told my kids when "Balto" came out what a load of BS it was. I'm really glad they made a movie about Togo now too, he deserves it.

Uncut Gems
It's a really good movie. So nerve-racking. Adam Sandler owns his role. This movie deserved an oscar nomination.

Midway - 5/10
It felt like it tried to be an epic movie but was brought down by a low budget. The acting was mediocre at best and the script was rather weak... The CGI looked like it was done on a tight budget...
Netflix has a WW2 Documentary and the episode on Midway was more interesting than this movie...
The movie glossed over a lot of the more interesting parts of Midway like the codebreakers in order to try and show some drama between the lead character and his wife which was extremely boring... In the end, you have no attachment to any of these characters and being they are based on real people that's a huge disservice to these real-life heros..
