no reasons really. you know when youre lining up a commission and the artist asks if theres anything particular youd like to see? usually i say something along the lines of "run with it" or "do your thing", giving the artist freedom the let their abilities and talent shine. i did however, as stated, request that action 1 recreation a few times and was sort of surprised to not receive it.

a very close friend of mine is an artist and hes mentioned to me that hes doing an invincible for me for my birthday in june. he knows that ive wanted that cover for awhile, so, im hoping that he does it for me. another close friend is a painter and i commissioned him a few months ago and apparently my "door sized" invincible will be ready this week. this im excited about.

sorry for the derailment.

No derailment, thank you for the kind words about Achilleas's work, those cover recreations are actually going to be published in his art book and most of them are still for sale for very reasonable prices if you are interested.

"Door sized" ?! I want to see that please!

Hey guys, this is one of the normal announcements I make for CGC signing / sketch events that I arrange. I figured I would share here too.

"Any interest in sketches or sigs?

http://www.markmckennaart.com/checklist.asp

http://www.markmckennaart.com/artwork.asp

Sketches single inked figures, includes sketch, book, shipping cgc etc. all in one $125

Mark is raising money for one of his upcoming creator owned comics so this is a good opportunity to grab a sketch from him. If there is enough interest I will speak with CGC about doing a mail away."

Virginia Kakava's work is outstanding.
She should submit examples of her work to Spectrum.

Which one of the colored pieces are actual paintings (not digital)?
