Unless you're a Michigander (ME!) you can't bash Detroit/Michigan. :P

There are lots of cool things to do in and in the suburbs of Detroit! Take a in a Tiger game for instance.

Don't Mess with the Mitten.

i didn't mean to come off negatively, i have family up there. for some people, its heaven. i get it. look at me, i live in the desert where it gets like 150 degrees in the summer. crazy. but, i dig that. no question, i think Arizona and Michigan are completely opposite.

i think the days of traveling to cons may be dwindling down here. we like to take a summer vacation or at least 1 a year, but, its so expensive for a family of 4 to travel anywhere these days. especially when I'm footing the whole tab. you know? we get a great con here in Phx in the summer, that'll usually tide us over a bit. everywhere nearby us (within driving range which helps with airfare/car rental expenses) all has their cons each weekend consecutively in the summer. its ridiculous. talk about con season. no time to breathe. gotta be selective.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Yeah, it's actually a cover I should've bought almost 2 years ago. We are big fans of Chris Giarrusso around here. He did the variant cover for Invincible #98. I contacted Chris as soon as I saw he was doing the variant cover and inquired as to the availability of said art. It was available but I procrastinated and lost out. Not only that, but, issue #98 was the issue my letter was published. Now, almost 2 years later, it's coming home. Cool stuff!

I'm international, y'all. Got 2 pages coming in from Canada, 6 from the United Kingdom, and a great print from Australia. Crazy!
