2017 Comic art year in review thread

I had a fun year this year. It started with a Zatanna painting commission by Gennadiy Koufay. I've worked with him before and likely will again. I love his stuff.










The next piece I acquired was a Lord of the Rings painting by Spanish artist Arantza Sestayo. It was used for a European litho company.









The last piece I acquired this year is something out of my usual purchases zone. It's a published cover by Arthur Adams. I believe the book, Phoenix Resurrected #1, just came out a couple of weeks ago.

As amazing and as worth it as the Flash piece is, that Gabe is an absolute masterpiece!!!! Awesome, O!!!

ha! I'm sure I paid quite a bit more. I went 11x17 2 characters and he was charging $1500. No regrets though as it came out better than I could have hoped.
