Diamond Select, plummeting fast ...

Strictly, my opinion.

I can't say that I have ever been a huge fan of DS product, but there have been a fair number of pieces that I do own and very much like. But ...

Looking at the Toyfair previews, all I can say is

What a pile of junk. It looks like the art direction is now provided by a group of amateur fanboys. Who would want this stuff?

This kind of downturn in quality is going to kill the statue collectibles market.

Not the market just the company that makes it.

There are a couple of nice pieces in there but overall they are not near the quality of Bowen or Sideshow. Everyone already knows that though, so why beat a dead horse? If you don't like them, don't buy them...

Man, the Iron Man in the pics has a tip broken off of the spikes.
Kinda sad to display that one on the site like that

I think DST tries to be creative in their designs. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I can't fault them for trying.

I actualy like the concept of the "black & white" heroes/villains with themselves in colour before they became who they are. Wont buy em due to lack of funds and space and so much other stuff coming out but I like the originality.

Those Rushmore pieces are really cool IMO. I love that idea. LOL Don't know what atrocities await when you see them in person, but the ideas great. The B/W Origin line is SUCH a great concept, but I've been really disappointed with the sculpts on these. The Hulk is still promising, but the rest have been kinda ...off.

I like the B/W origins concept but the whole execution is undesirable. The smaller figure with just adds "clutter" to the whole piece. There should have been more thought and planning in this line.
