Smile Some Love for Our Favorite Artists

I?ve enjoyed so many spectacular pieces from so many amazing artists over the years; it?s been a privilege to witness their works! My goal is to learn something about each artist and post something for them here. Thank you for your unique vision of the characters we love!

I should have set the title of the thread as, "Fan Art for Our Favorite Artists." I thought this would be a fun way to celebrate the pieces we've enjoyed over the years from so many artists. The thread is meant for fans to learn something about an artist and do something for them whether it be a drawing, painting, poetry... This bit of role reversal is appreciating the person behind the fantastic works we enjoy, by rendering our vision of something that is special to them. The picture is my version of Zelda...drawn for an amazing artist/sculptor.

Oh okay. Wow you look like a pretty good artist!
You don't want to say who you did it for?

Thanks! Truth is?I?d starve to death if I tried to make it as an artist; hence why I?m a ?pharmer?. I?m keeping the name quiet for many reasons. Mostly, I don?t want any unnecessary or unwanted attention directed to them. Also, it may look like we only celebrate a few when there are so many artists that work damned hard creating a labour of love. We?ve heard enough downright cruel comments about artists? works without considering how those words will crush their spirit. I really don?t want this thread which is meant to be positive to make the artists whose names don?t show up feel left out. It?s a thread to say we celebrate and recognize them as exceptional people.
