Then, my new Sony is best!

You like the new photos I took at SDCC?

It's all with the new camera. It was so nice to carry. I give up on the SLR at the show

You should, if only for the love of taking photos of what you love.

There is so much to see

Maybe next time

Those are some great photos.

I'm newer with respect to getting into photography, and never had purchased a DSLR. I was a bit worried about the bulk of the cameras, and knew that I wouldn't use something if it weren't portable. These new micro four thirds attracted me for that reason. In fact, I just purchased the Olympus E-PL1. It should arrive in the mail later today. The kit lens isn't supposed to be spectacular, but it may suffice for a while. I did order the pancake lens, and may consider the Olympus 14-150mm later, if the kit lens isn't satisfying (which many suggest it won't be.)

congrats on the Olympus Pen! i really think this 4/3 micro cameras are going to start taking off in the next few years. once they introduce more lenses and lower the prices then the public will embrace it even more.

you're absolutely right in the convenience dept. definitely the bulk of full size DSLRs makes it much harder to carry around. i find these micro cameras are a great compromise between picture quality and ease of use. i've always hated having to worry about my expensive gear whenever i go to "fun" outings.
