It was obvious it won't be out during the summer since we didn't hear any update about it for quite some time. But still, damn

Here are some pics of the production sample! I think it looks great. I do see two flaws though. One being the messy mouth line, and the other being the skin tone on the edge of her shorts.

Definitely love the side view!

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

It almost looks like a seem where legs meet the shorts. Hopefully they fix the paint application there.

Looks great. Will be an amazing addition to my existing Lara statues.

The paint on her shorts / legs looks exactly like the proto btw:

Looks good to me. I wish we could see finalized concepts of those anniversary statues now.

I'm no expert, but minor paint bleed seems somewhat unavoidable on mass-produced statues although it can be done well enough to be nearly unnoticeable without heavily scrutinizing them, as we often do with these close-up photos. Bleeding edges were partly to blame for why I got into statues and maquettes so late in the game, as I didn't realize paint apps on articulated figures generally looked cleaner from being painted and assembled from separate parts. Starting with mixed media pieces helped alleviate that somewhat, hence why I prefer certain aspects of the Guardian of Light PF over this Tomb Raider. Ultimately I learned to live with it on fully sculpted pieces. Companies are getting smarter about hiding seams and the like, which is an appreciable art in itself.

Looks like the shorts have a raised lip on them and instead of painting it brown it got painted the skin color...
