Of course the base and pose of Ultimate Swordsman, is over the top and boombastic, showing his huge power, which is fantastic.

But with Shibumi you have just a walking pose on a small but highly detailed base but the whole statue just oozes power and charisma, a different type of strength.

Both are fantastic in their own ways, and i expect things to only get better
Yeh you are right! Id love to own either, I know the colours are true to the comic but Shibumi I just feel the colours don't gel well or something. I can't actually put my finger on it. His pose is still very powerful and agree his portrait is better. Wish they did end up making the scar on the face of Ultimate Swordsman more real like with indentation instead of just a painted stripe.
Very interested in seeing if they will be doing more characters from this comic line now. Very cool and out of the mainstream

Wow! Not seen it next to the Darkness before. It's huge lol.

I never realized just how big it was because i never had anything judge it against lol, Darkness is a pretty big piece and this looks just as epic!

Are these production piece images or is this still the proto?

No not hoping or changes, just wanted to know if this was a production piece to see how it came out.

Specifically the base.
