New One Minute Later - Green Lanter #15 - Ethan Van Sciver & Scott Hanna

I didn't think I'd have much luck going only on Sunday to a comic-con (Great Philadelphia Comic-Con) but this past Sunday I did go and I was supremely lucky as Ethan had caught up on his sketch list from Friday and Saturday and was happy to agree to this One Minute Later for Sunday. Ethan penciled and inked both characters and some of the background, he roughed in the craters and building and Scott Hanna was kind enough (at the end of the show when he completed his list) to finish off the backgrounds so I'd have a completed piece. I love the way Ethan kept the vertical line but pushed it much further left to show that ONE MINUTE LATER, GL and Sinestro are moving further into the Yellow World.

Ethan was super nice and so was Scott. I had a great show thanks to the two of them.

All in one day?!?! Really brings into perspective the years some people had to wait (or are still waiting) on work from him. It is obvious he can work fast and still with quality.

Ethan was super nice and great to talk to and hang out. He had finished his list so he said he'd spend Sunday on my piece and he did spend several hours on it. At the end of the show (around 4pm-ish), Scott Hanna finished his list and he was happy to do the background as a favor so I could have a complete piece. We even took a picture which Ethan twittered. It was great talking to both of them --super nice folks.
