Weta - Azog the Defiler on Warg
I think this deserves it's own thread. Just got an email from Weta saying they are charging me on Feb 10th and shipping to me from the US warehouse.

congrats man. this is one hell of a piece for sure.
i should have snagged it. but i dont collect LOTR or Hobbit. ever since i missed out on the Balrog. .
i do love the characters and the story.
looking forward to the pics.

Thanks, this will be my first statue from this movie and most likely my only. I saw this one at SDCC and loved it. It's absolutely huge and has a big WOW factor, it's a pricey one though.
I hope to see another big statue from Weta for the 2nd part of the film. I'm sure we all know which beast it will be.

This piece mark my words will be the 1/6 statue of the year. Only the GG Capt America on bike might have a chance to beat it IMHO . He'll this might be the statue of the year period and perhaps the greatest middle Earth piece ever. Unless the Weta Smaug statue we see at SDCC beats it. Now to get those damn funds ready

It's an insane, ambitious statue that I'd love to see in person. I hope other characters I care more about receive this same level of above-and-beyondness.
