I’m a big fan of your Batman Animated bust line and always snatch up every new bust as soon as they’re released. I was sorry though to see that there were no new offerings at NYCC this year. I realize the line must be winding down but are there any plans of making a few of the remaining recurring villains like the Ventriloquist, Mad Hatter or Dr. Strange?

DSTChuck: Reports of the line’s demise MAY have been exaggerated.


So from the sounds of it i can almost bet anything we're gonna get more. At least The Mad Hatter for sure, I would bet on it. I'm hopeful for Alfred and Commissioner Gordon too.

The next big event for showing new products is the New York Toy Fair on February 16, hopefully we will see some new busts their.
I am hoping for the Mad Hatter and Scarface. But I don't know how they would do Scarface, do you think they would do a bust of the Ventriloquist holding Scarface ? I would like Harvey Bullock too, with a doughnut in his hand.

Btw, what is up with this line? There is something sketchy about it. I know the pieces are awesome and for a really good price, but why is a character like Batman, Joker, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, etc still available for like 25 dollars. And a character like Mr Freeze and Phantasm extremely hard to find. They aren't even available on eBay. Nothing! I know there are 3000 pieces of each bust, so why would 3000 people buy Mr Freeze, but only 2000 Batman. Do all those people want one Mr Freeze bust on their shelf or something? I just don't get it... I don't mind paying him for the msrp, but he had dissapeared. Other rare statues like the Bowen Batman or Sideshow pieces you can still find them for sale on eBay. Ok, the prices are sky rocket sometimes. But still, if you really want to, you have an option to buy it. With some of these bust, nope... So weird.

That's a very good point, it doesn't make sense for the popular characters to still be available and the other ones all gone.
