If your going to pose her that way, they needed to give her a round booty not a flat one..
I'm disappointed with the brooks line of statues for various reasons...

Sweet statue. I like the outfit and the pose, but about the portrait, I don't see the beginning of a beginning of resemblance with Brook's art. Disappointing.
I was interested by SpiderGwen, but the unmasked portrait, so nice on the proto, was such a mess on production pieces...

Hmm, not feeling the portrait here. So far have the JSC Black cat, and that was a pretty nice piece.

They eyes and hair are Brooks, but from the nose down it’s not. I still really like the statue, I just won’t think of Brooks when I see it.
And I think maybe a change of hand. Though I would love a smiling portrait swap.

I think the person who sculpted this is the same person who sculpted the new supergirl PF.

Very fun and playful statue, but i never got into the character. Also i meet the artist at SDCC, he kinda came off like a jerk, but then again maybe the long days of SDCC just got to him.
Anyway i'd enjoy seeing a Mark Brooks Storm

I have a She-Ra commission that I picked up directly from Mark and his wife Lisa. He couldn’t have been nicer. There was also a snaffu with their scanner (he scans his sketches for art books) where it put black dots on my piece!! He felt HORRIBLE and fixed it to the point you’d never even know it happened.
I bet the long SDCC days were the issue. I’ve been lucky to not meet any negative artists. Then again, I’m not pushy or asking for 30 things to be signed.

I wasn't asking for 30 things to sign, I just wanted one art print. But cool, i'm glad it was just maybe my timing was off, i'd probably be irritable after long days and little sleep.
