I like how they are going straight for the powers and costume.

While I really enjoyed Smallville, I think going that route again would have been stale.

Also, like the darker colors in the costume.

Green Lantern was great, Flash good, but nearly all female actors are wrong on DCs portfolio in my eyes. This Supergirl is below average. Like some of our neighbours to me, not a supergirl with something "special". Also costume is totally boring. So I just dont aggree.

P.S: but ok .. Gadot as Wonderwoman is much worse.

I have very strong feelings about this. Unfortunately all of those feelings are "Meh..."

I'm noticing a trend regarding the DC TV series with female superheroes. Whoever is producing these shows is so afraid of appearing to be 'sexist', that they have completely desexualised the characters. They now show literally no skin below the neck.

But uh I guess men are still allowed be sexy, as seen with Arrow.

Any sexy women are clearly evil and must be banished from the screen.

Yeah, not to be an ass toward the girl but I don't see this actress as being that hot myself especially compared to Vandervoort in smallville, apparently they say she has some nudes online haha. Hopefully this will work out okay though.

Thats not wrong. But there are sexy AND talented young girls available in every good casting..
Seems they dont really use "castings" of talented newcomers and do pre-settings.
But I prefer a new face on the horizon.
And damn yes.. Gemma looks hot (Id also take her as Supergirl preferred over the picked one; but of course PG would be awesome^^).
