That might be the worst production face sculpt Yamato's factory may have done. They are usually on par to the prototype, so this is shocking to me.

Disappointed & cancelled.
In terms of facial quality the prototype was similar to Yamato's earlier Black Tinkerbell production piece (outstanding) but this is completely different.
Sticking with my SS WW.

OMG, what happened? ;(
I need more pictures to see if it's still "a possible buy".
But what is this? Why do companies betray possible buyers with WRONG advertisements?
They obviously CHANGED the SCULPT ! That's not a paint issue anymore..this is close to fraud.

It's not a good picture to begin with but hmmm yeah I'll need to see better pictures before deciding... It's kind of surprising as they have nailed Catwoman, Harley, Robin Hood, Athena and several others with outstanding faces, so I'm not sure what happen to send them so far off the tracks..

I had a bit of hesitation in getting this because of the pose but the face sculpt had me preordering regardless. But seeing the production piece, this definitely has me canceling

As someone who didn't order, I think the change looks better. Luis Royo's typical, soft, exotic face didn't even begin to suit Wonder Woman. On a character like Talia or Katana, sure, but not WW.
But I understand completely why people are upset. They loved the face and it is one of the main reasons they ordered her.
It's a very deceitful thing for Yamato to do.

Very unusual for Yamato.
Their production pieces usually come out great, especially the portraits.
Did they change factories? Yeesh.
The lighting in the photos does seem really harsh.
So, I will just have to wait for better in hand pics.

I confess, I prefer the new face. I too didn't think the other face looked right on Wonder Woman. But I agree they shouldn't have done it between the announced prototype and the issue without another prototype being shown.
Regards,
Richard.

I actually canceled my BBTS order yesterday before even seeing these. I had decided to wait and pick her up later. Judging by these pics, it looks like it was the right move. Maybe part of it can be blamed on lighting but it does seem like some tweaks were made. For all the grief this piece got for the pose, the face was undeniably beautiful and why I ultimately ordered her. What I see here isn't what I'd expect from a Yamato portrait. Disappointing to say the least.
Maybe once some better pics surface, I'll give it another chance. There was nothing wrong with this Wonder Woman having softer features IMO. It was the artist's interpretation. There's plenty of other alternatives out there for a more "traditional" looking Wonder Woman statue.
