So I guess while were on the subject of this. Today DC released Batman Damned #1 which showed Batman's fully naked butt and sh-long. THE OUTRAGE! How could they do that. I'm so sick of men being objectified in comics especially a character as prestigious as Batman! For Heavens sake CHILDREN read these comics. The horror! I'm going to send a 2 page letter to DC publications to tell them how myself and other men all around the world really feel. This has gone far enough.

I remember seeing Watchman and how a scene where a man has his arms sawed off or another where hot grease burned a man to death shocked me. Friend of mine wasn't bothered, but felt disturbed seeing Doctor Manhatten's penis.
Maybe it is because I took art classes with nude models, but the human body doesn't bother me.

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I do think though that nudity, political agendas and religion should be “mostly” left out of comics. If it’s important to the story, sure, but nothing gratuitous.

I've never understood the American mentality. Extreme violence? "Awesome!" Male nudity? "Ew, gross."
If that's the case, do American men bathe in the dark?
