I TOO AGREE that this is not the same looking statue that appears on the box. And there is no reason why this statue should have so many problems. Broken knee pads, poor magnets (manufacturing problem), and really flat paint on the hands on the base and different gold color on the gold parts of Scorp
So I am not disagreeing with you T-Jam, but the packaging compounds the problems more than it should. I can't tell about the paints on the lava base, as it is hard to see what the problem is in pics. Maybe it seems like neon paints or something? I really can't tell. How is lava supposed to look on a statue?

hey loric. i did read the mostly part, but in my opinion most of the problems have nothing to do with packaging. that's just an additional frustration. lava could be deep red for all i care, at least i could say its boilng blood as opposed to the melted crayola it currently is. and i realize you weren't being specific to mk. i read your other post about showing your dislike for pcs's packaging with your wallet and i agree that's the best way to go. sorry if i came off as angry. im just frustrated with this company as a whole now that i had to vent. didn't mean to direct it to you.
