I think its safe to say that Jerry has or will most likely see this thread and take it on board.
To be honest, all he has to do is show this thread to whoever made the call, and say 'This is just an example of the ginger skull reception' .
They would have to at least consider the possible revision.

Pretty sure the lava base is with both versions.
The chain spear is a necessary part of the character. Not something Jerry made up.
