I like that idea a lot to nearmint! It's funny what you pick up on. Little things you may not have noticed initially, different angles, etc.

This is not my way.
I don't like to carry the statues around.
But I need better tools for dusting.
Currently I am using the vacuum cleaner (lowest suction level) and Swiffer. But with the Swiffer I always get stuck somewhere

Funny enough, i can see many of my pieces while watching TV. Time and time again, during the adverts, my attention is drawn to a piece, and i notice something i hadn't noticed before. Fact is, when a piece first arrives, i'm only too happy to open it, make sure it is not broken, no wonky eyes etc, assemble it, place it on a shelf, take some photo's, job done!
Better appreciation comes later on.

Every couple of month I'll see a dust layer starting to form and a cleaning I will go.
Thankfully my collection is still small, although it will grow next year once I get my new display.

+1 for air purifiers... I don’t see a reason to dust daily or even weekly when having them

Are these devices really that good?
Do you run it 24 hours a day?

I'm in the nearmint club, every 2 to 4 weeks take them out and I brush them down with art brushes, they're very soft so perfect for the job, I find it quite therapeutic and also it does give you a chance to see things you missed.

Does the dust sticks to the brushes.
Do you have a link or a item name?

I started using art brushes as I've got a few anyway, but I decided to get ones specifically for the job and these are the ones I've found work well,

edit; sorry missed the bit about dust sticking...no it doesn't, I tend to just brush them down and put them back up on the shelf, so the dust is down on the counter where I clean them.
