Those are two entirely different things, and they have always said the later. It took me 6 months to get a replacement arm for my Arkham Deathstroke when it first came out.
I'm asking sincerely because I don't do FB and I'm wondering what the actual facts are.

I think there are 3 separate threads on the Sideshow/Prime 1 issues. You should read through them to get the whole story.
But in the past few weeks Sideshow have sent out boiler plate email responses in answer to requests for nearly any replacement part requests for Prime 1 pieces. These emails have said that they don’t have any replacement parts, nor do they expect any in the future and are offering credits etc, but a lot of collectors are requesting full refunds. And some of these are then turning around and reordering through Prime 1.
On the other side, some Sideshow customers are trying to correspond directly with Prime 1, but the usual response here is that the collector has to deal with their direct retailer, most being Sideshow. Note this is the same policy that Sideshow themselves have with regards to their own pieces which are sold through resellers etc.
However Prime 1 has responded to collectors that they are still providing replacement parts via Sideshow. So it’s unknown who’s not telling the truth at the moment.
And that’s not to say Sideshow isn’t sending out replacement parts. I just read someone was receiving one for their Venom. But that was probably requested through Sideshow before this whole mess seemingly escalated.
This assumed deteriorating relationship has been theorised at to why Prime 1 is now offering cheaper economy shipping options to the US, plus the future warehouse locations they hope to have in the US and the EU.
