I think we'll see all the subtle color variations when the statue is actually painted by hand. But man, what a beautiful sculpt! Great days for collecting, but these prices are killers.

I don’t see a chance of it reaching 300 pre orders. It’s expensive and not comic related. What I could see, is if the pre orders get somewhat close and XM decides to produce it anyway in hope that the rest will sell when in hand pics come in.

I think there are emough collectors that are not interested in a comic version, I for one......but then you have to have the right price point and I think XM is wrong there.

I agree. The price will be the determining factor in the production of this piece.

Caleb's Cable looked pretty sick. I'd throw down for that.

Thor is one of my favorites, and I have to say, this Thor is way more bad ass than comic Thor! I much as I like Thor, I've always thought his costume was dumb and didn't fit the character. Modern Thor is a bit better. But this Thor would take both their lunch money! This is how I picture him. I'll be ordering tomorrow and I'm gonna display him right along with my other Marvel 1/4s!

Wow $879 plus shipping that sounds like a very good price, unfortunately not here it's going to cost $1200 + give or take $350 for shipping plus because it's over the thousand dollars I need to pay tax on it as well so that's roughly another $300. So this thing is going to cost $1850 AUD ($1400 USD) to buy but then again that's no different from any other statue I buy their all expensive.
