Fury - 8/10 - Amazingly sad and fascinating

Keeping the Faith - 7/10 - Funny and well acted but a bit overlong

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Alien Nation (1988) - 7/10

Alien/buddy cop film that I found pretty entertaining.

Kingsman: The Secret Service - 9/10 - Completely over the top, utterly ridiculous, and I absolutely loved it. If you take it the way it was intended you'll have an absolute blast. Loved Colin Firth as the brutal yet gentlemanly super spy, and Samuel L as the super villain with a lisp and repulsion for violence. And as a henchmen (woman) Gazelle was absolutely brilliant.

Oh, and the church scene makes Hit Girl look like a little sissy

Glad you enjoyed it. I gave it a 7.5 out of 10 but could make an argument for 8. very enjoyable indeed.

I loved it mate. I think I gave it an extra point for the Swedish princess scene at the end. My wife was laughing hysterically at that line. "If you save the world . . . . . "

Haha that was hilarious. I had wondered if Vaughan had to cut the movie but seemingly he gave an interview and said not. The only thing I marked it down on was SLJ accent. It was somewhat annoying but I did love his hatred of blood.

Yeah. I could see how the lisp might grate a little, but I thought it worked with the overall absurdity of the whole film and his character. Always enjoy watching Mark Strong as well. Will definitely be a BD purchase for me.
