Watched this one last night as well and also thought it was bloody hilarious. (7.5/10) The self deprecating humor over being a sequel and the trappings of sequels was brilliant.

I doubt we will get another one (based on the final scene/credit roll) but it does make me mildly interested in the Jump Street/MiB crossover that the "Sony hack" insinuated was in the works.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

John Wick

If there is a movie deserving of a "man flick" title, John Wick is a perfect candidate. Action, drama and dark comedy all in one complete package. The level of testosterone is sky high but it is all presented with flair and style. A concept that many movies geared towards male audiences seem to forget easily.

John Wick is a man on a mission and Keanu Reeves does a superb job in bringing the character to life. The movie also has a fantastic supporting cast that keeps it entertaining from beginning to end.

Although the film is very enjoyable due to the well choreographed action scenes, the on point music score and the witty dialogue, it is not without its faults. The plot is simple and very predictable. At moments, the capacity and strength of the main character are so overpowering than it leaves you feeling like the film is already a done deal without an important greater level of tension. While this is not necessarily a bad thing, it makes the movie drag a bit with the nonsensical and sometimes laughable line of events, specially at the end.

All in all, this is a great movie for those in love with the action film genre. It is not mind blowing or award worthy but it will keep you strapped to your sit enjoying every minute of it. Hopefully, this is the beginning of greater thing to come. I would surely love to watch a sequel some time soon. The story has the right chops for it.

7.5/10 - Very Good

Prisoners 9/10 Very well portrayed twisted thriller. Very disturbing it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Best movie of that genre since SeVen.

Amazing Spider-man 2 6/10

Not a bad film just really don't see the point in them and feel they are just not need.

It was however overlong and a good half hour could have been cut from it.

Oh, and the church scene makes Hit Girl look like a little sissy

So stoked to see this. Should be going this weekend. I've gotta mad crush on Colin and that young actor is quite adorable as well. Toss in action, spies, craziness and Sam Jackson and I'm sold!
