Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter (Hammer, 1974) - 2/10

So, I finally hit a real polished-turd of a Vampire movie from Hammer Studios made pretty late in their game. Capt. Kronos, along with his hunch-back helper, wander 18th century Eastern Europe killing vampires & picking up babes. Kronos looks as if the lead singer-guy from ABBA decided to take a musical time-out and pursue acting for a little while. Nothing about this movie was fun ... except maybe Hammer starlet, Caroline Monroe who prettied up every scene she was in. The final sword fight with a vampire whom no traditional vampire rules seemed to apply was just awful & seemed to go on forever. It was if Hammer studios was trying to make a Solomon Kane film, but just tripped up everywhere.

Cloverfield 1 out of 10

It sounds like this movie is just going to rock your socks off, a giant monster, action, excitement! In my opinion this film was really awful and incredibly boring. I wouldn't even say it was mildly entertaining.

Night of the Creeps 10 out of 10

Damn, this film is so entertaining. I had forgotten just how enjoyable this film is, having gone a very long time without seeing it. If you like Critters, Gremlins, or Night of the Living Dead then give this classic a try. Is it a B movie? I think so, but it doesn't pretend that it isn't aware of that. It's campy, cheesy, and uniquely bizarre.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Lionheart 7/10

Sudden Death 7.5/10

Pretty much Van Damme doing Willis's Mcclane role set inside a hockey stadium, Powers Boothe fairly good as a villain here.

To be fair on these i'm probably one of the biggest "big hero action star films" fan around and I should have watched more of Van Damme's stuff about 10 years ago. I guess soon I'll move on to some Seagal stuff.I'll probably end up watching 20-35 action movies upcoming when I'm in this mood lol.

Not the best and couldn't get over some of the changes they made. Megan Fox is nothing but eye candy. She can not act

Knuckleball ~ -/5

Documentary...so no rating.
Talked about the knuckleball pitch in the MLB and the past/present pitchers who've used it (focusing on Wakefield and Dickey). The thing was that it was a 90 minute documentary with roughly 30-40 minutes of actual content in it. Too many slo-mo baseball throws and throwaway content really hurt this one.
