Why people even buy EA games anymore is beyond my understanding. Just get EA Access and be patient. You will be able to play all of EA's games for just $29.99 a year. Honestly, I got more value in my first 2 months then the entire yearly price. EA Access is one of the best deals in all of gaming right now.

The Xbox store Countdown to 2018 aale went live Yesterday for those interested. I gifted return to arkham for my brother for Christmas for $10, I believe the sale ends 1/4/18

Yeah, that's the best option for buying games. I no longer purchase pre-orders since waiting can save you a lot, especially with digital copies or holiday sales. If you're patient, steam has some fantastic deals, and I've been able to grab games for crazy discounts during seasonal sales. It's worth keeping an eye out instead of splurging early.

On a side note, platforms like Skinomat make selling CS2 skins for PayPal easy if you're into gaming items rather than games. It's straightforward, and cashout's quick, which helped me clear out some old skins for extra cash.

Same, in addition to a deep discount, buying later also means any major bugs have been ironed out by then
