Hot Toys: Deadpool & Wolverine - Human Torch 1/6

I don't collect Hot Toys, but I just had to post this one due to the...let's just say, highly questionable likeness to Chris Evans

Strange figure to offer. The likeness to Chris is absent.
My guess is, Hot Toys rework the level of likeness.

It's like Tom Hardy and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau made a baby.

Haha, yeah I heard a comparison to Jamie Lannister, so that tracks. The figure is certainly a handsome man, it's just not Chris Evans. To their credit, Hot Toys usually nails their headsculpts, so it becomes noteworthy when a likeness is so off.

My brother said when he worked at Mattel, they had to have a plan A face and a plan B face, when actors were involved. For whatever reason (just doesn't sign off on the approval in time for launch, signs off on a proto that they adjust and then won't sign off) and plan B was always a close but not quite, yet still attractive, option.

My thought exactly when I first saw it. Truth is the likeness department in Hot Toys is not always consistent, even on characters they had done numerous times previously.

This headsculpt of CE is off by a mile.
