Sitting on the bench like he should be.
If you think Cousins would have done any better while being swarmed like that, you haven’t watched him enough. He was the most sacked QB for a reason. He gets scared and doesn’t try to throw either. Cousins had years to learn to move behind the Vikings HORRIBLE O-line and never did. Darnold reverted to not moving, despite making really good passes on the move all season.
We got the same results that Cousins provided. Zero playoff wins. Except we did it on the cheap and not strangled by a contract! Woot!
Random note: At halftime I texted my friends and said “Hear me out….how about just putting in Daniel Jones. It cannot get any worse.”

Helllll no we didn’t. I said 5-6 wins tops. I just kept thinking how many millions Darnold cost himself with his last two games. IMO he played worse in the Lions game bc missing WIDE OPEN people, which to me, is worse than inaccuracy. Not even getting the ball to the highest percentage successful location is awful.
Overall I’m less mad at the outcome versus the total bullsh!t fumble that was reversed into an incomplete pass!! WTF?! If that is a “pass” then why aren’t more QBs doing it? More ----ty was then they couldn’t tack on the intentional grounding. These rules and overturns need to be modified to get the call correct in full bc it was not just an incomplete pass.
Fully on the Lions and Bills train now. This weekend I want to see Rams, Lions, Texans, and Bills wins.
