Great Sculpt...poor materials

Is this normal for Hot Toys?

I have always questioned their build quality and they will not earn my business until they address quality control...THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE

I haven't had any major issues on them myself, have half a dozen. Love them all.

I dunno, maybe i am a big lumbering oaf with clumsy hands.. But after breaking my Dark Knight Batman's Neck Peg, while changing the heads, I had in my head a continuous record playing " Be careful, be careful, they break easy" And I was damn careful and soft handed, and still, the wrist peg broke.. While posing, i wasn't even changing hands.. 10 minutes outta the box.

I would say, great sculpt, and very accurate accessories and outfit, but you can't be careful enough.

So get hot-toys, if you are lookin for an awesome display, and you don't wanna play around or pose too much. I love my Dutch in the cabinet, but i have had to pose him such that his right side ( with no hand ) ain't visible. It's pretty, but It's still there at the back of my head, So no more hot toys fr me unless it's Superman related. ( Of course i hev alrdy pre-ordered the predator, but he's staying mint in box )

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

What happened with the 12" T2 statue was a damn shame. Poor moulding/casting ruined the likeness as can be seen in this comparison of the statue and Ray Villafane's original sculpture. I still have it in my collection though as the sculpting and stance is superb.

As for the Hot Toys Dutch, I decided to cancel. The in hand photos just didn't do it for me.
