Got this for Christmas! Absolutely beautiful. Nice to have some of the artwork from cards I couldn't afford, and especially nice to see the new stuff. Really like Valkyrie and Gladiator, and Invisible Woman (and the rest of the FF) are highlights. I also liked Joe's notes for each of the paintings. His fondness for a lot of the classic costumes for these characters mirrors my own. He expressed disappointment in not being able to do the classic versions of guys like Star-Lord, Hawkeye, Iron Fist, and even Mar-Vell. I would have loved those! Weird how Marvel let him paint classic versions of Vision, Quicksilver, Thor, Angel, and others, but stopped him from doing others. The artist should be given free reign imo. Regardless, this book is fantastic!
