I think their biggest mistake regarding this line was Spidey's base - I'm sure that alone pretty much killed any interest in it for a lot of people, including me.

Yeap. Spidey himself looks great but his weird web base is just awkward.

Yeah, prototype looks better. That proto face is just stunning. The production piece looks more glossy overall to me.

My fave aspect of the proto's face is that she looks very kind (breaks the monotony of "superhero" facial expressions).

Mine has left HK, and Frankfurt, on its way to Luton (UK)... expected arrival Tuesday. 
Picked her up from DHL this afternoon (Monday), £28 customs etc. to pay, which made me happy (expected £70). She's lovely and goes well with the JSC Spider-man of a couple of years ago. Her legs do seem rather long, but I'm explaining it away as comic-licence. One happy collector here. :-)

Congrats! She looks good with Peter.
By any chance, do you think you could post a close up of the face? I've considered placing an order for this before, but it's the one thing I'm not completely sold on.
