This is the latest release form Studio Ghibli. I didn't expect the story to be as mature as it was. The animation (particularly the running scene) is lovely. 9/10
Is this out on brd? I've been dying to watch it.

Cool monster design though.
I think that's almost part of the "charm" of watching them, The characters are usually insufferable douche bags which leads people to almost root for the Michaels,Jason, and Freddy's

Yep, that's why I rated Hellraiser only 4/10

Map to the Stars (2014) latest outing from Cronenberg on the lives of people in Hollywood. But strange like all of his movies. 6/10

Godzilla 3D..... 4/10 (4 for Godzilla, 0 for the film itself)

Complete waste of £20.

Crazy flick about mad scientists, other dimensions, and the horror and consequences of exploring them. Like a lot of 80's horror films it has great special fx. Same director and a few of the cast from Re-Animator ( Jeffrey Combs, Barbara Crampton ).

I first saw this on VHS back in the late '80s - one of the few horror movies at the local video store that more than lived up to the crazy images on the box. It's some weird $#!&, and I love it.

Edward Scissor-hands 8/10
Great film that still holds up and have a very interesting social commentary. Burton's best film by far.
