A Widow solo film is a way out now with Scar Jo pregnant and Cap 3 shifting the MCU.

Has she not already had the baby? It would still be possible logistically to make a movie for release before June 2017. I just don't see Marvel pulling the trigger. She is probably the best known female character from the MCU at this stage.

I have my doubts about them doing two period pieces, especially if the first is based in the suffrage movement 1920's. Perhaps a a film that flashes back to her mother in the WW role during that time or the World Wars.
