Adam Hughes Mara Jade?
7/6 Q&A...
Question: What are the current thoughts and/or plans for a 1/6 scale Mara Jade?
Answer: Mara Jade is going to get some attention in one or more of our lines for 2011 or 2012. We’re especially fond of Adam Hughes’ recent take on the character…
Wonder if they will go for the realistic approach or AH style like with the Marvel girls???

Don't know her, but if it's a pf and looks like the pic I'll buy her, the hair is so beautiful, I should go to the hairdresser with this pic!

I would say that is a very good possibilty. Correct me of I'm wrong, but there is no statue that Adam has been involved in that did not have Tim as the sculptor. In any event, I hope it's Tim, as his sculpted faces are exactly what I look for! Adam + Tim = great statues! Add Mara Jade, one of my favorite Star Wars character, and it's all perfect!

I would rather have another version of her. Not a fan of the Hughes take. I want a real Mara Jade like from the comics. Not a fan of her as a pinup at all. She looks too "cutesie", I want a Mara Jade that is a fighter, something to go with the Luke PF, they belong together!!!!

I would definitely like to see a PF of her "inspired" by this pix, but not an attempt to replicate it. I don't think the there's a great track record for stylized PFs based on a particular comic artists' work (Emma and X-23 for example). That said, AH's interpretation is much more photo-realistic. She would need to have her lightsabre lit though.

Love Mara Jade, next to the biker Scout she is my fav character in the SW universe. Love AHs take on her and hope they do it very well!
