Storing statues in the garage

is this safe? with the heat or cold ?

well..i think they'd be okay...but I would wrap them in plastic bags and tape them up so no moisture can get to the boxes...depending on how bad humidity gets in your neck of the woods. If mice are a concern then you'd have to consider that as well...and I'd keep them off the ground as well.

i think ill just bring the statue in...its an expensive one...

it wont be bad for a couple of days i guess it has like 3 boxes its in

I have always done it. Im just out of room in the house. As long as you keep them sealed back up in the shipping box you should be fine. Down here, an exposed statue to our heat and humidity would flake the paint right off.

I keep them sealed in the shipping box, no problems here.

I would think it's safe - I have an attic space - it's get hot as hell in there - but I keep my boxes up there and, kept in plastic bags, I've never had a problem with them...

I think humidity and extreme heat would be detrimental. I was thinking of storing my stuff there as well, but I remembered seeing styrofoam being lifted off a statue that was stored in a garage once and a patch of paint came up with it!
