The most uneventful spooktacular ever
Why is this spooktacular so boring? I recall all the previous spooktacular events being filled with multiple reveals each day. So far there have only been 2. What is going on?

I think the answer is the economy, and that Sideshow has put all the budget this year into the things that they are giving away, and very little on the actual Spooktacular event, like video clips and actors which always made this event fun. You may recall last year had all these high production value video clips, but now poor Criswell has been reduced to just his head floating in a pop up window, and there's no ongoing unfolding video stories. There have been a lot of contests so far, that's pretty much it. As far as revealed products to order, I think yesterday's was just like as if they didn't reveal anything, I found it so uninteresting. Should point out that the DVD in the Spook Kit was very well done, nice production values there. Also the prizes have been good.

While I'm extremely overjoyed with the Vampirella order, I'm very pleased it's been uneventful. This simply translates to saving money!

Three more releases. Let's call it too early.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

It seems to me that the lack of awesome reveals, or at least the quantity of reveals, can be somewhat attributed to the sheer abundance of stuff that's been announced already and/or released this year. It's been a MASSIVE year for releases and announcements, or at least it appeared that way to me. That still doesn't get them off the hook for blowing a Thursday announcement on a ridiculously stupid action figure skeleton wtf ever it was. And wasn't that thing just something they distribute and don't make anyway? I hate it when they do that especially.

I agree.
Yesterdays announcement with that 125$ toy was a let down though.

I don't think Sideshow realizes how much people looked forward to seeing the new video clips up online each year and following the crazy stories they told. That's one thing that is definitely missing this year.
