Petition to DC Direct: DC Dynamics Flash
How about a little petition to persuade DC Direct to make Tim Bruckner's Flash for DC Dynamics, which of course means wooing Bruckner to come back and work for (or run) DC Direct.

I'm down! This one, out of all the ones released or pending release, is a no-brainer. I can't believe there's a Joker for this line, but no Flash. Well... it is DC Direct, so maybe I can believe it.

How would you do it? The others are all flying or hovering. A horizontal dynamics statue?

I wondered about the Joker piece too, but I think it looks pretty good and I'll be picking it up. Bruckner posted somewhere on this forum that the Joker piece was a "filler" while he was working out the details for the Flash piece.
Bruckner also described that he had figured out the resolution to the horizontal/vertical problem for Flash and had been working on a prototype when the line was cancelled. He mentioned he might post some pics on his Facebook page. I don't know that he has done that yet.

I guess. I kind of figured it would be Flash in a running stance from the waist up, and from the waist down a red blurry trail.

I have yet to see a Flash statue which accurately depicted super speed IMO.

Let's face it, when Flash is going at super speed, you can't see him. Case in point. Shoot a gun. Do you see the bullet? Nope. And if you do a stop action shot, there is no trailing "blur". Case in point, here's a stop action of a bullet in flight.
So how do you get a good picture of the Flash running that looks like running?

I see your point, but I am sure I've seen pictures of Flash's running, illustrated more or less the way I'm describing. Even though it's not technically accurate, as the bullet picture shows, I think it would be acceptable for the character. Otherwise, all we need is a statue of Flash in a running stance, and we can just say he's running at super speed.

Coincidentally or not , Tim Bruckner posted a picture on his FB page, of the rough clay sculpture for the intended Flash statue in this line. I didn't know it had even gotten this far, too bad it was scrapped.
