that would be nice...giving opportunity for the people who couldn't score one.

I bet the 75 who got a black would try to get the AP as well and sell the black one on eBay.

anyhow, it doesn't matter anymore...

I am thinking $1500.

I don't know Jerry, I think this is that slippery slope that you are going down that might trip you up and lead to the line crashing.

It sounds like a wonderful idea on paper, but if you got so many emails complaining about the way that the Black Chun Li was handled, how are they emails going to be when that first Chun Li 3 AP pack shows up on ebay.

The collectors around here are fickle people, they don't think about the big picture. They only think about their own collection and why they didn't get something that was offered. It showed that way in the Chun Li Email. (Which I think was the fairest way you could have done it. If I did not get one, it was fine with me, that is life) Some of your collectors think that they are entitled to statues because they are 'true collectors'.

Catering to these 'true' collectors is a bad bad move. Some might call me crazy, but these rabid fans do not drive the statue market. The true driver of the market is the evil flipper. The reason your Street Fighter line is so popular is because the flipper drove the price of the Shin Akuma and the Ryu up to the stratosphere. That makes your line desirable.

Don't paint yourself into a corner that you cannot get out of. But then again what do I know, I am just a fan and an occassional flipper.

APs have always existed. They are out there for every single Street Fighter statue including Akuma and Green Vega.

They would be Chun Li APs no matter what.

All Im doing is adding a little extra value to them to justify the premiums they sell for and putting a little extra in the companies pocket instead of in the flippers pocket.

At what price to try to get a black version? This is exactly the reason why I may just stop this statue collectiing. The people who really would appreciate this stuff getting shut out.

I don't think that there will be many flippers selling the black Version Chun-Li, 38 people from this forum got one and I bet the other 37 went to collectors too.

Concerning the AP ChunSet I think it's a good idea. I would buy it if I had the money. Also Jerry is fair and would delete the numbered version you have won if you get the set and another collector on the waitlist can get that one.

Although I will be jealous with the 10 people that get the set (like it is with the 2 people that got the Bison prototypes) I am still happy to have the black version.

I don't think flippers made the line popular, I don't see a lot of Akuma's or Ryu's on Ebay, because it is hard to find people that want to sell theirs.

After all every release of the SF line has something special
