Podcast/video for March is now up!

This month, I talk to artist Nick Dragotta. Nick is the co-creator of the popular Image title EAST OF WEST. He's also an original art collector. Before we got started, he decided he'd like to flip the script a bit and talk to me about my collecting and what I do has a rep, so this episode is half me, half Nick:

Nick was feeling camera shy so I also do the show-and-tell video this time. I shift focus away from nostalgia and published art to commissions:

Very excited about next few months, got some great guys lined up. Stay tuned!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Most impressed by the JJ portrait of your daughter, actually. JJ blows away any comic artist alive right now...IMO.

Would love to own a painting by him, though his prices reflect my sentiment LOL.

The latest episode is up!

http://felixcomicart.libsyn.com/

Guest this month is John Butler. He's one of the best guys I've met in the hobby, and he's also quietly put together an incredible collection (which he mostly keeps under wraps).

Here's his show-and-tell video:

This one turned out especially fun, thanks again to him for sharing. Enjoy!

The May episode is now up!

http://felixcomicart.libsyn.com/

Guest this month is Scott Dunbier. For those who don't know, Scott is the Special Projects Editor at IDW, where he oversees his greatest achievement in publishing (IMO, anyway!), the Artist's Edition line. He was also an early original art dealer in the '80s and '90s. As you can guess, he's got great stories!

And here's his original art show-and-tell video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmFUtnNftDQ

Check it out, enjoy!
