Whilst that makes a lot of sense, the second wave was advertised as the 'New 52' and I also think it's unfair to attribute Wave 2 to Jim Lee. None of the statues are actually representative of his art or style, possibly just some meetings he was involved in where they discussed character costumes [some where they had no changes (Catwoman herself), big revisions (Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy), and also where they reversed changes Jim Lee had made himself (Wonder Woman and her black leggings)]. I always felt that Wave 2 was pushed out (perhaps prematurely?) as DC Direct was becoming DC Collectables and also to meet the 'New 52' drive so that when it didn't take off, DC was happy enough to quietly ignore it and latch onto the rising ArtGerm rocket.

Yes! You're words strike true. I loved that statue so much I bought it twice. The regular one and the mini statue version. I still have them. I have yet to display any of my statues. I open them up every few years to see how they are doing.

That seems fairly common amongst forum members.

Bellisima!
That Batgirl statue has no sense. Catwoman looks divine. I can't wait until someone poses her backwards just like they've been doing with poor ole' Supergirl. Perhaps someone who gets triggered by an artists signature on the base. Snicker, snicker =(^.^)= I'm kidding!
