Just picked up Alias (Bendis)
I tell you wow, I just bought the entire set # 1-28 on ebay and got them yesterday and read the whole series in 1 sitting. I must tell you I was impressed. I've always been a Bendis fan (since Sam & Twitch anyway) and this series was great . It read like I was watching a movie as most Bendis stuff does. I can see why it was cancelled though , it had to be a tough sell to the regular comic buying people. Especially with all the F-bombs in every issue. All in all a great read and I would recommend to any Bendis fan

I loved this series. I've stated before on this board that I think it was one of the best comic book series to come along in a couple of decades.

Got the first few issues, hated it, it's just not for me.

Same Bendis style or writing for Alias? I guess I mean like his work with Ultimate Spidey and New Avengers.

Not really. Of course, it's the same writer so there will be similarities. But this title's not traditional comic book action oriented as are New Avengers and Ultimate Spidey.

Alias is probably one of the best things Bendis has written, I had dropped it after the first few issues, but then went back and read more and loved it. First few issues have some rough stuff, but it is an amazing series. I am a big fan of Bendis and this is some of his best and most creative stuff. I think easily the best new series from Marvel over the last several years. Was sad to see it end and become pulse, they are truly two different books.

The Purple Man storyline was intense.
