DO NOT get a commission from Michael Golden
thru his agent,Renee Witterstaetter, i commissioned a piece from Michael Golden last October.i was promised in writing a delivery date of a month and a half.Since then ive received another 4 promised delivery dates all of which have failed to materialise.Since finding out that there was a lot of us in the same boat,a few of us got together and as a united front we were all given firm promises of a delivery date.my art came today.to say im annoyed is an understatement.This cost me $537 . . . (and he cant even spell virtue)
i phoned renee today, who got quite heated,stating she hadnt seen the art as Golden had shipped it himself.Its her signature on the customs declaration !
any thoughts or comments on this? is there anything i can do to get my money back?

The misspelling of virtue seems like a slam to me. Paying you back for bugging him about the delivery.

The Artist has a great sense of humor, but for $500 plus you should have gotten what you asked for.
Being late he could have included the shown piece as an bonus for your waiting IMO.
But we are only hearing one side of the story though.

Wow that sucks...........Golden is supposed to be here KC in September. I was going to try to get a sketch, but not now. Michael Golden has just received the Assclown of the Month award!!!!

I say take him to claims court, or how about mail fraud?
I'm glad I don't get commissions, too many horror stories like this one.

I kind of like it outside virtue not spelled right, but not for that amount of money by a longshot. I would agree that it seems more like a free throw-in for you patience then the real piece.
