the Destroyer would win. matter of fact, Thor would fare better against the Destroyer than Hulk would.
the only way the Hulk would win is if he could find
the host of the Destroyer. and in the same manner
that Spidey, IMO, "stopped" the Juggernaut, Hulk would have done the same to the Destoyer.

They already fought and Hulk proved that he is unable to defeat the armor. He can only win thru plot device like Thor. (he he he he he).

Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #461, I think, as I remember, Maestro posesses the Destroyer armour in this issue.

There is no fight. The Destroyer would destroy him.

Hi guys,

it seems like things are looking bad for the jade giant based on the predictions I have read so far. 'Hulk Smash' apparently will not be enough against The Destroyer with its magical God given powers.

To add something to this clash you can find a short description of the powers and abilities of these two giants below:

-1. The Hulk

The Hulk possesses the potential for near-limitless physical strength depending directly on his emotional state, particularly his anger.[38][39][40]This has been reflected in the repeated comment "The madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets." His durability, healing, and endurance also increase in relation to his temper.[41] The Hulk is also extremely resistant to most forms of injury or damage, including physical, psychic, environmental extremes, and is immune to disease and poisons. His powerful legs allow him to leap into lower Earth orbit or across continents.[42] He also has less commonly described powers, including abilities allowing him to "home in" to his place of origin in New Mexico, and to see and interact with astral forms. He has been shown to have both regenerative and adaptive healing abilities, including growing tissues to allow him to breathe underwater, surviving unprotected in space (yet still needing to breathe), and when injured, healing from almost any wound within seconds, including regenerating lost mass.

As Bruce Banner (and the Merged/Professor Hulk), he is considered one of the greatest minds on Earth. He has developed expertise in the fields of biology, chemistry, engineering, and physiology, and holds a Ph.D. in nuclear physics. He possesses "a mind so brilliant it cannot be measured on any known intelligence test".[43]

In The Science of Superheroes, Lois Grest and Robert Weinberg examined Hulk’s powers, explaining the scientific flaws in them. Most notably, they point out that the level of gamma radiation Banner is exposed to at the initial blast would induce radiation sickness and kill him, or if not, create significant cancer risks for Banner, because hard radiation strips cells of their ability to function. They go on to offer up an alternate origin, in which a Hulk might be created by biological experimentation with adrenal glands and GFP.

Charles Q. Choi from LiveScience.com further explains that unlike the Incredible Hulk, gamma rays are not green - lying as they do beyond the visible spectrum, gamma rays have no color at all that we can describe. He also explains that gamma rays are so powerful (the highest form of light and 10,000 times more powerful than visible light) that they can even create matter- a possible explanation for the increased mass that Bruce Banner takes on during transformations. "Just as the Incredible Hulk 'is the strongest one there is,' as he says himself, so too are gamma ray bursts the most powerful explosions known."[44]

----------------------------

-2. The Destroyer

Powers
The Destroyer has superhuman strength that may have no limits since it has never been measured, it can travel through the air by means of self-levitation, and can project bolts of varying energies including magnetic and an unknown energy so powerful that it can shatter any known substance including uru metal. The Destroyer can also produce flames that can reach intense levels of heat and it can also transmute, rearrange and alter matter and its densities in order to convert it to its different forms: solid, liquid and gas

Weapons
Aside from its other abilities, the most powerful weapon in the Destroyer’s arsenal is its disintegrator beam. The disintegrator beam is fired when the Destroyer lowers its visor and the energy builds up and projects, outward, from the top of the visor. It has been said that this beam is able to annihilate anything

Paraphernalia
The Destroyer armor is made from an unknown metal found on Asgard and was enchanted by Odin to make that metal harder than uru, the metal Mjolnir is made of, or adamantium and almost totally indestructible

==================================

May the best man win!
