Another Supanova Melbourne haul (ie. Gibbons art inside)

So Supanova has come and gone for Melbourne again. Slighty disappointing for me since I missed out on getting something from Terry a second time, hopefully there'll be another chance in future. In any case, I can be too unhappy since I was at least able to get a piece from Dave Gibbons (silver lining, right?).
I figure that most people would request a Rorscharch and why not, he's the most visually striking character in my opinion (next to a naked blue dude). I suggested that to make mine a little different, we see Rorscharch writing in his journal. I was stoked when Dave pulled out this beauty, it's gone above and beyond my expectations. He said that he recalled a scene where the character runs into an alley to get changed, and this is what happens. A cool little "deleted scene" if you will. I half regret not asking to get it inked, it would have made the piece much more moodier.

And instead of the regular Rorscharch in my book, I twisted his arm into getting a Nite-Owl.

Finally, a piece from another talented local, W. Chew Chan. Very Keaton-esque and a worthy addition to my Bat-sketch book.

Big thanks to Mr. Clint Eastwood for making a dream come true. And to the Aussie Wolfpack (Rod, Ryan, Royd, Terence, Alex). I wish the conventions were more than 2 days, so that we could really catch up and talk before we get sick of each other until the next convention (2.5 months away, tick tock)

Why am I only now finding out that BeerNutta is Paul?

Damn! Another Gibbons out of the OZ Squad?! You lucky man.

I'm surprised they don't make the cons a little longer for the artists who travel. I'm sure they are taking long vacations as well as doing the con, but another day would allow them to do more for the fans as some of the artists have mentioned they wish they could do.
