Neither of the portraits on the Psylocke you reference are all that great. The newer one just was definitely not an improvement so everyone wants that one also because it is rare and Psylocke sells like Wolverine. The night paint on their other subsequent Psylocke ain't so great either.
They did specular highlights on Symbiote Spider-Man and it turned out really well but I'm sure you've seen some of the splotchy turquoise domes on that piece.
More of what we are talking about is new things done right.
But I mean there's still a chance so we will see. Remember I'm always happy to change my mind and eat some crow on any statue. Actually that is what I hope on this one as I want to want it. That video did not make many believers though.
