Wolverine vs Carnage

Lets pump some life into the what if? section guys.
This would be a amazing match up that I'd love too see, man two killers going at it.

James Howlett, the best at what he does, and what he does isn't very nice. Born in Canada in the late 1800's, he has fought in WWI and WWII and had been part of some of the most powerful teams of all times, Team X, Weapon X, Department H and the X-men to name some. Healing Factor, Claws, Agility, acute senses and a bad attitude, he is truly a force to be reckoned with.

Cletus Kasady was a disturbed youth, torturing his mothers dog and killing is grandmother doesn't make for a good start. While serving an 11 year prison stretch he was given a new cell mate, Eddie Brock, his symbiote Venom was pregnant and the symbiote spawn bonded with Cletus, thus starting his rain of terror. He has strength, speed, webbing and much more.

Who wins?

Carnage would rip Wolvie a new one but it would keep growing back.

I think Wolverine has the skill and intelligence advantage here, Carnages healing factor isn't great either, is he strong enough to rip through Adamantium?

Carnage is about Spideys speed level which would rank him at least a couple above wolvie, this fight would be great to see but I am pretty sure I know the outcome.

Carnage can heal very fast and besides being way way stronger than Wolvie he can shoot parts of himself before he moves in for the kill.

I hate, hate, hate Carnage as a character, but even if I didn't (and I do...did I make that clear?

) I'd still go with Wolverine. Logan has beaten FAR more dangerous slicer/healers than Carnage.

I dunno if he could cut through the symbiote, but in the end. Healing factor all the way, he would figure it out.

I hate them both, but my hatred for Wolverine is much deeper, so I'm pulling for Carnage.

The way I see it Carnage in principal is a psychotic madman / serial killer with superpowers who basically lashes out at everything and everyone around him. He is dangerous and lethal but IMO he is an unguided weapon without underlying strategy or thought.

Wolverine on the otherhand also has superpowers but besides that the man is well trained in the martial arts, has a lot of experience as a fighter, he has an virtually unbreakable skeleton and claws and he has an animalistic rage which would scare the crap out of everybody.

Carnage is a dangerous but unguided weapon. Wolverine is a well trained and experienced weapon who knows what it takes to take out the big guns in the MU.

That's why I would put my money on Wolverine . The guy is simply the best there is at what he does.
