Hot Toys Prometheus figures on the way!
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I like the suit design, and I'm sure the alien from the movie will be made.
If you're interested in what you might be getting, but don't mind some spoilerish designs, here's the NECA figure. Granted, not the same, but I'm sure we'll be getting the design in higher quality.

The only thing they can do with the movie is release a Space Jockey figure, other than that there is nothing in the movie worth making a figure for.

They can release the people in space suits, just like Hot Toys did with Dallas and Kane.

David is the only sure bet in my book. Space Jockey is quite large and I don't see Hot Toys developing a new body for him. Other characters don't seem to warrant a release for me and HT only tends to make characters that sell.
