I think it will be a combination of resin, metal and plastic like all MR and eFX studio scales.

I found out today from the efx rep at Star Wars Celebration that the Slave 1 is put on hold for likely 3 years. They said the original model was sent to a display in Canada. Therefore they said that they may need to consider a different ship in the mean time. Oh well.

I wouldn't mind seeing a y-wing. Master Replicas produced one, but it needed custom paint to really pop,and it didn't have electronics. A nice paint job, and some lights would make it a popular offering in my opinion.
